I make it a point to never purchase cheap alcohol that has some kind of “award” associated with it — if it really did win some kind of award, it would be more expensive, right? This isn’t to say I don’t sometimes purchase inexpensive spirits, I just don’t let these marketing gimmicks influence my decision.
