Now that we have covered the Mojito, I am going to stick with the Rum theme, but concentrate on my personal favorite rum… Sailor Jerry. This rum has some unique characteristics that don’t make it ideal for every rum based drink. So I am on the look-out for your recommendations for Sailor Jerry recipes. I’m going to kick it off with one from the Sailor Jerry site: The Tiki. I love this drink!
The Tiki
- 1½ oz. Sailor Jerry Spiced Navy Rum
- 1 oz. Curacao
- 2 oz. Cranberry Juice
- 2 oz. Pineapple Juice
- 1 oz. Orange Juice
How To Make It:
In a shaker with ice, combine everything but the Curacao. Shake it and pour into a Collins glass. Flat the Curacao on top. Garnish with a cherry, pineapple wedge, orange slice or a combination of all three. Then prepare to sail away to a tropical paradise.

Thanks for this! I wish I could have found this blog sooner. I could have made wonderful drinks like these before if I had. *sigh*
