Here’s some interesting daiquiri information you might not know: Daiquiris, likea lot of awesome rum drinks originated in Cuba. In Daiquiri, Cuba, in fact. Rum was being used to fight malaria. Engineers from the U.S. started adding sugar to the fever fighting booze. The drink gradually evolved to include ice and lime and whammo - the daiquiri was born.

Daiquiri Tip: If you’re making a blended daiquiri, blend the ice and fruit first (for about 20 seconds). Then add the rest of your ingredients.


Banana Irish Cream Daiquiri

Combine ingredients in a blender. Run at low speed for 30 seconds, then high speed until the ice has broken up completely. Pour into glass of choice and serve.


Daiquiri

Shake vigorously with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange slice.


Daiquiri Slush

Frappe and serve in a collins glass.
