The movie Sideways has had a massive impact on the wine industry – most notably in sales of Pinot Noir. Now, the movie has inspired an actual wine bar that will open later this month in Santa Barbara county. Tastes of the Valleys will feature over 55 wines from 15 Central Coast producers.

"After the success of the movie, we were looking to do something," said Dave Chambers, Wine Merchant and Partner for Tastes of the Valleys. "The film had done so much for the Central Coast, not just for Pinot Noir itself, but for Pinots all over the Central Coast."
