The way to bartender gold is paved in barbacking experience. The only people who might want to check out Bartending School are those who have little to no experience in the restaurant business. It can open a few doors, especially to those who are changing careers. But for the most part, I'd recommend barbacking. We're happy to teach all the essentials to someone willing to work that hard... and the tip-outs can be phenomenal. :-) Joe, I’m in total agreement.
