Having a hangover can be miserable. Besides missing work, one just feels terrible. However, there are certain things you can do to help you recover faster and without much hassles. The recovery can be enhanced by doing the following:
- The first thing to do on the morning of the hangover is to drink fluids. Whether you drink water, tea or juice, it does not matter. Just do not drink coffee. The more liquids you drink the faster will the alcohol be removed from the blood.
- Do not drink any more alcohol; it may decrease the immediate symptoms but you will have a hangover the following morning
- Do not eat a heavy meal all day. Keep to light salads or snacks. You must avoid all food which will make you nauseated or bloated. If you can stick to a liquid diet, the chances are you will recover faster.
- Try and keep cool. If you feel sweaty, apply a moist cloth on you body
- Take an aspirin every 4-6 hours, this will help relieve the headache and all the muscle pains
- Get plenty of rest.
There are some who recommend exercises, but most individuals just are not up to it.
Others recommend taking vitamins and various herbs. While no one knows which ones are the best, the less herbs and chemicals you take, the better it is for you
Because you feel tired and unwell, the last thing you should do is go for a drive. And if your alcohol levels are still high, you will probably end up being penalized if stopped by the police.
The best advice is to rest and let time help you recover.

Best way to cure a hangover is not to drink.

I don’t know about that. Greasy and spicy food usually helps me. Also, doing something active and getting the blood moving. Cold showers help, and also I like to just sleep in through it.
